Monograph is a bookshop cafe situated within the Institute of Modern Art. Monograph specialise in artistic books and journals while providing their customers with somewhere to sit, drink coffee and read. Given that Monograph specialises in artistic journals, a graphical approach to letterform was taken in order to link the written with the visual. The identity created had a focus on typography, in that it used the shapes of letterforms to create a base for the graphic element.
The website was an integral part of the business’s marketing, allowing customers to view the upcoming magazine issues and encourage online publication purchases.
